Capri Mulder from Oregon had a stellar first year!

$119,000 from February 23^rd 2011 to February 23^rd 2012.

What a difference 1 year makes!

Back in 2011 Capri was working at a chocolate factory making $17,000 a year. She had been working there for 2 years. Like many households that are struggling to make ends meet with 2 incomes the Mulder’s were barely making it and Capri, who was a stay at home mom all her life, had to take a job to help with bills. Her heart was at home with her kids.

Capri started with her training through the marketing system and went to a First Steps to Success training event with DFI’s corporate trainer, Dani Johnson. She actually charged that event on a credit card to be able to attend it early on when she realized that the training was an integral part of many Coastal Travel directors having great success as well as paying off huge chucks of debt. At the event she took home the War on Debt home study program and applying the techniques she learned in that debt annihilation course was able to save $500 on their groceries the next month.

“Dani said from the stage give me 1 year of your life and you won’t recognize it 1 year from now. The training was so valuable that I committed myself to going to First Steps to Success for the whole year.”

That was only the beginning. The tools and strategies that she learned at the event helped her to understand how important it was the start at the top level of her home business to maximize making the most money the fastest. After the event Capri and her husband borrowed some of the money and sold 1 of their 2 cars to come in at the Platinum level.

“I was not messing around. If I was going to do this, I was going to DO THIS!”

Capri made Coastal Travel her chosen profession. Her first month in business she make $19,400. Capri was able to quit her factory job in May, 2 ½ months later, to come home to her kids and work her Coastal business with diligence. By Dec 31^st of the year she made $100,000 in her business making her a 6 figure income earner for the first time in her life and earning her DFI Award Ring.

This has been the best year of her life. The $500 she saved in groceries that first month turned in to paying off $30,000 in personal debt. Her War on Debt classes she held at her home has helped a group of people in her community pay off $90,000 in debt collectively.

In addition her home life has improved greatly. Her kids are following in their footsteps thinking differently than before about money and business and the atmosphere in their home was changed. Their relationships are better and there is less stress. Capri has not only changed the course of her family’s life but also has grown her influence in the community helping other people get out of debt and have hope once again. Now that she is at home with her kids, her heart is to help others and give them hope and encouragement.

Capri’s 3 keys to success are:

#1 Promote Dani Johnson: Be the expert at promoting the expert.

#2 Use the script books: Just read the scripts in the script books. Some people wait to get good before they start. But you never get good at anything until you start.

#3 Go to training events: The training events gave me the skills I needed.

Capri’s advice to the DFI team is to make a plan for you to work and work your plan and stick to it.

Today is March 1st and March Madness in the Lucrative Home Business Industry is just starting.  Hilary Snyder, stay at home mom, business professional and true leader recently sent an email to Jackie O’Quinn and I on Monday of this week, it’s what makes working from home and helping others worth it!

Dear Stacy and Jackie,

I wanted to send a quick email humbly thanking both of you for all times you guys have spent your time encouraging me in this business. Since Monday I have brought in $20,605!! Not quite a truck day but I will gladly take a truck week.

Jackie back in September we had a phone conversation and you said something that hit home.  Something along the lines of the people who fail are the ones who quit….and Stacy you have listened to me cry (the ugly cry), you gave me the privilege of listening to you close and numerous conversations  encouraging me with a little butt chewing!!!

Truly guys this week would have NEVER been possible without you both.

Hilary Snyder… You have done the work and you have created your success.  What Stacy, Jackie and even Dani Johnson has done for you is nothing compared to what you have done yourself.  Plenty of people get the knowledge, they can listen to a training call, go to a seminar or read a book but, most folks never follow through. 

Hilary Snyder your faith is inspirational and your integrity is amazing.  You know how to have success and create success.  Anyone following your lead should be paying attention and hopefully they realize they have a once and a lifetime opportunity working with you in a lucrative home business.

On the path of success, wealth, enjoyment and happiness?  You probably made a goal for 2012 around New Years?  How far are you on that goal?  Have you given up?  (NEVER give up no one will help you get their if you aren’t giving your all)

We are at the end of February and this is always a good time to see if you are generating the income that you want?  Do you have the time freedom you deserve?  Has your stress decreased?  Are you going to be able to have a fun Christmas this year and not have to worry like you did in 2011?  What have you don’t to satisfy your New Year’s resolutions?  There are only 3 outcomes.

1.  You have reached all your goals and dreams?  (Chances are you won the lottery or something) In most cases if it only took you a month an a half to reach your goals I would say first congrats and second a goal is just a step on a long journey quickly identify your next step.  Tackle that next goal like you just did your New Year’s Resolution.  You’ve proven you are decisive and action oriented way to get it done.  Now keep it up.

2.  Most likely you’ve reached some stage of your goal.  You looked for another job or you started a home business to increase your income, or at least you’ve done some research?  Maybe you are not as close you as you would like to be.  In many cases no matter what your goal was it’s called take action.  Focus briefly on what your life will be like if you don’t act on that next step to accomplish your desires?  What would it look like when you reach that New Year’s resolution finally?  What will it feel like?

Don’t get frustrated we are only in the 2nd month of a 12 month timeline, it’s still the beginning.  But the beginning is what makes a difference.  The first step was a decision at the beginning of the year.  The second comes at the beginning of every week or month as you reflect on what you want to do.  The biggest key though is the beginning of each day, regardless of what you did yesterday what are you going to do with this new beginning today to get closer to your goal?  Get closer ever day!

3.  Maybe you thought about your goal around New Year’s but you really haven’t done anything about it yet.  If that’s the case you have one of two issues.  Either you are in a rut in life and you truly are comfortable in that rut even if you are not happy.  There is a desire in your heart for a reason.  God put that desire in you and it has a purpose.  Obey that purpose for you, it’s why you are not happy.  It’s because you have not fulfilled your destiny.

The second reason is fear.  Fear holds you back, fear hinders the desires of your heart.  They key to overcoming fear is understanding where the source is.  Fear is not from God so it must be from? Hell?  Satan will never put fear in front of a door he knows you will fail at. 

IT does not matter if you are in a rut or you have dealt with some fear.  The way to get out of it is simply that first step.  Break out of that rut bust through that door that has fear in front of it.  LIke Dani Johnson says you would not have that desire to do something great if you were not designed to do something great.

Dawn you are an amazing woman.  Every day we get to spend together is one of the best days of my life.  I would not be the man, the provider or father I have become if it were not for your unwavering love and support.  You are more than an awesome wife and you have become an incredible mom.  Your roles as a Wife and Mom are many, expansive and consume a ton of your time.  You always endure, you never complain and carry a significant load always with a smile.
