IMPORTANT…A Moment of Your Time
Posted by: | CommentsDo you believe in reaping and sowing? How about karma? You know good karma and bad karma, bad karma hangs over us like a dark cloud. Until you build up some of that good stuff that bad karma just chases you. You keep having those days you can’t do nothing right.
OK maybe karma’s not your thing and you don’t really grasp reaping and sowing, how about “what goes around comes around”. You ‘ve heard that before I’m sure.
What if it was possible to have good people just randomly do good things for you. Some of us 
would call it a blessing. Do you know one of the best ways to be blessed? Do something simply out of the kindness of your heart for someone else and bless them. That’s an example of sowing good things, and if we sow good things then we must reap good things.
LISTEN UP! It doesn’t have to be a big thing either, just selfless.
Here’s a selfless opportunity for you. Below is a letter I got from a very success business woman Angela Lasher who I’ve partnered with over the years. She’s had such an incredible impact on so many people’s lives. She’s smart, intelligent and just knows how to get things done and benefit others at the same time. She has something she cares about and we can take 2 minutes of our day and help her for a good cause.

My fiance’s sister, Jessica Griesemer has Cystic Fibrosis. She is 23 years old. She is a Speech Pathology Major and just began her first 2 years in West Chester University’s Grad school program. Jessica is one of 40 CF students who is up for a $17,000 scholarship. The student with the most votes will win the scholarship. This is where she needs your help.

I could be crazy, only time will tell. Many of you have wandered why my blog has not been updated or why have you not heard from me lately and truly it’s because I’ve dreaded this moment. Not because of a level of fear but mostly because I was not sure of how to express the many thanks that so many of you deserve for the impact you’ve had on my life.
You can read my story on the right but let me help you with the real story. DO you want the REAL story? I’m going to share it with you in the next couple of updates.

Now when I say the REAL story that does not mean the one on the right is incorrect it just means there is more to add between the lines than already exist.
Let’s state a few facts…
Coastal Travel and the DFI team is amazing and I’m able to make the decisions I’ve made because of each and everyone of them. The income I’ve made is amazing and the life I’ve lived being home with my family has been awesome! I’ve basically become unemployable of sorts! THANKS GUYS!
One thing I always shared with people is I started $116,000 in debt only making 25,000 a year. I did make amazing income but, at one point about a year and a half ago due to investments in real estate that went south (duh), investments creating the DFI marketing system (more on this later) and remainder of previous debt I was over $300,000 in debt. Even though I was making a 6 figure income.
Now the good news…
Thanks to Coastal Travel, DFI and the training and support from Dani Johnson, Jackie O’Quinn and Renae Hiekkila I continued to be a top income earner in Coastal Travel.
To my knowledge I was the #1 income worldwide last year in all of Coastal Travel. (Dang, I could never repay you guys thanks!!!)
If you believed you earned more than I did last year in Coastal leave a comment in this post please. I’d like you to be properly recognized.
OK on second thought don’t bust my bubble I’m going somewhere here.
Last year I ended the year paying off huge chunks of my debt even getting to the point to be able to sell investments I lost money on and cut my losses. You know they won’t let you sell that stuff if you owe more than it’s worth???? That’s silly.
Long story short. We ended the year debt free except for $80,000 left on our mortgage and we had and additional $50,000 saved at the bank.
Now there is something in my mind I have always wanted to do…. Subscribe now

I’m doing a training on Live Dials
Posted by: | CommentsToday is an awesome opportunity for me. Things have worked out so I am going to be honored with the chance to make live dials and talk to clients live on the phone as our team at DFI listens in. We have so many talented leaders I rarely get to do this for our team.
I’m jacked up and stoked about it! I’m always making live dials for my own personal team. Obviously we work one on one with everyone we bring into the business. But to have the chance to do it for all of Coastal Travel! This is going to be a blast.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas
Posted by: | CommentsMany of you who follow this blog will notice the unusual absence over the last couple of weeks. Well it has every thing to do with being a home based business owner and Christmas. I love this time of year.
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays due to the reason for the season and I’m not talking Santa here. I absolutely enjoy the time we spend around our friends and family as well. I made a last minute decision to travel for two and a half weeks this year for the holidays.
Thank Goodness working from home I have the best Boss ever!
We took off for NC to visit family and we got in such a hurry that a cop stopped us. I was going 79 in a 70 mph zone. He was in the Christmas Spirit and I was thankful. He just asked me to slow down a little and of course I did and he wished me a Merry Christmas. In NC, we started looking at houses and land because we will be moving there soon enough. “That’s my wife’s desires once we sell our home on the river in LA.” My request was I just need a computer and Internet connection.
Keeping your wife happy I have learned makes life a lot easier. Thank goodness my wife is pretty easy to make happy. Of course she is completely amazing as well. Not to mention HOT, Beautiful and Sexy <--- This is for brownie points she reads my blog. She's also my biggest cheerleader.
So as I write this we have stopped in Biloxi MS to visit more family as we make our way back home. And we are stoked. According to most people 2008 was a rough year on the economy. It may have been, but for us we have been blessed working in DFI we have not noticed much change. Our biggest day was 19,410 dollars in profit this year. Angela Lasher just made 52,000 dollars in 6 weeks. We are completely blessed in our company.
Life doesn’t have to be easy, it just has to be worth it! Thank God it is!

DFI Gives Away Cruise first in 14+ year History of Coastal Travel

How to increase your income with a Blitz!
Posted by: | CommentsOnce in a while I run into someone who will ask what are you guys doing in DFI to have the results that you have had? Here’s the reality it would take hours to explain exactly our business model as a team. Why it really works even though it’s super simple. Why people from all backgrounds and all walks of life are having success working from home and maybe I’ll do that one day.
How do you know you are on the right track though? Results is the obvious answer and I’ll be sharing some results in our next post.
What are others willing to do to see you succeed? What sacrifice are others willing to make? Has one of your advertising agencies or marketing partners slashed their profits to work with you? Has anyone put in any effort to help you or contribute to your success? One man has recently for our team in DFI for our Coastal Travel businesses. He recently did a training call for us during our Blitz! He’s the original person who mentored us on how to run an effective Blitz with your team. Before that call he shared with us his desire to cut his profit margins lower then he has in the past to work with our team. He recapped what he shared on the call and also talked about him slashing prices in a comical way in a recent letter to DFI!
Dear DFI TEAM!
Were you on the call this morning? If not – be sure to get on the calls this week… Be sure to read through the message for an exciting special offered to only a few select DFI team members.
1) Preparation – this is why it is critical to plug into your morning calls and calls throughout the day – to have your mind where it needs to be for Peak Performance.
2) Focus – the blitz will cause you to focus more than you may have ever done in your life. Get your goals clear and in front of you for the day, week – for your dials, presentations and enrollments – it’s got to be crystal clear.
3) Intensity – you must bring an extra normal energy and drive to the blitz. This is not just a ‘normal’ day or week – this is BLITZ week – This means your intensity must be at another level – your expectancy for growth – for success for positive results must be at a new high…. not for a long time – just for the blitz, and you will be surprised at some of the benefits of the blitz after it is over.
4) Higher success with hitting your target/goal. this is critical – when you attack your business with an all out blitz… even if you stink on the phone or presenting – or you are a pro..doesn’t matter – you will have more success than ‘normal’ because of the focus and intensity of the blitz. This means you will achieve your goals faster and more complete than ever during a blitz.
5) Victory – when this blitz is over – I guarantee you will have more victory in your life – in your finances, overcoming fears, taking actions, helping others, having more fun than ever before and maybe even breaking some of the DFI records. this will happen – bottomline – guaranteed…you can’t help but have more victory when you are blitzing…it’s that simple.
You can do this.
And during the blitz – you will need people to talk to. If you already have a media agency you are excited about and getting results – by all means – whether that is SnapResponse or Cutting Edge Media – stick with it -
However, I would encourage you to get as many people in front of you as possible – which means it can be a great idea to invest in multiple advertising agencies. It’s just smart business.

Our Team is Back from Dani Johnson now what?
Posted by: | CommentsDani Johnson was awesome at First Steps to Success this weekend. Our team was there full force learning the skills that every single person who has joined our team DFI and then created a 6 Figure Income has already learned. So now that we’ve gained these skills and we are back now what?
It’s too early to tell who the next story will be on our team, all I know is since the last event Nathan Brown from Alberta has be come a released Platinum Director and generated 19,410 dollars in Profit. Bonnie from North Carolina as well as Nike also from North Carolina are kicking butt as well. After the last event our team generated at least 72,000 dollars that month.
All I know is there are going to be some serious stories because this happens every single month. Now that we are back home we simply apply. Not hesitation like Dani said just make a mess with your new skills and see what happens. Who knows you may be the next Nathan Brown (formally a Canadian Idol finalist) and now on track to make a 6 Figure Income in DFI.
