How to Find a Legitimate Home Based Business

Most home based business opportunities on the Internet these days are asking for money upfront for information promising what you will be able to do without having the information in your hand. A real opportunity is not going to charge you for information. In fact while a business may cost money all business do. You should be able to get as many details as you want before you ever pay a single dime. A legitimate home based business will allow you as a mom or a dad to work from home in your pajamas and under certain conditions still make a good living.
Now before you start a home business venture you must be honest with yourself. Many people want to work from home and you know working in your pajamas is one thing. But working with solid discipline is another. You have to have your own self-discipline. Many people can’t handle the freedom of taking breaks when they want, eating lunch or playing with the kids as often as they want because they never get any real work done. So you must be honest with yourself. If you have a legitimate home based business can you be self-disciplined. Even though you don’t make a highway commute you must make a hallway commute.
So how do you know you have found a legitimate home based business? It would be a venture that you feel comfortable with. One where there are resources and tools available at your disposal that you feel good you can use. Do you have the aptitude and basic skills it will take to succeed? Many of your home based business scams on the Internet have you pay for something and you don’t even know what resources are in place. Usually have you are buying an “e-book” or a program that is promising that once you download X program you will make money that is typically a sure sign of a scam. Run and run as fast as you possibly can.
One of the best legitimate home based business opportunities out there would be one in which you feel you already have the ability and the tools to succeed. How steep is the learning curve and is there a process to get your clients? Can you see that it is lucrative and do you feel good that with your current skill set you can have some success? DO you feel you can do this? If the answer is yes that you can do this and you know the resources are readily available and everything is transparent, open and laid out in an honest way chances are you have found the real deal! How to Handle Fear in Your Home Business
Posted by: | CommentsAny one starting out in a home business for the first time or anyone actually doing anything new the very first time will face fear. Fear is natural but we can’t let it control us. We need to understand it and then attack it and not let it stop us or hold us back. Fear is a by product of wanting to improve something in your life. It is only experienced when you are looking to start something new, like a lucrative home business. Dealing with fear is a good thing because it proves you are not apathetic. People who do not deal with fear are not trying anything new in their life. So that means one of two things. They are comfortable and happy with were they are, the debt they have the wealth they’ve created and the influence they have and they have no desire to ever improve. Or they are simply dead. It’s the only way to not ever face fear!
When you begin something knew it is important to understand what it is you are doing and why. If you are looking to build a lucrative home business for the first time are you looking to improve your financial situation and increase your wealth. To do that you can’t do what you’ve always done so that means you most likely will be trying something new. Naturally this can create nervous feelings and fear. If you are absolutely confident that what you are doing is simple. If you know the person you are working with will show you step by step what they do and how they do it. If you follow the same path they have done, you have to know you will be successful!
So at that point how do you handle fear? Hans Johnson, a million-aire and the husband of the best home business success coach in the industry Dani Johnson once said making a six figure income should never be complicated. To many people have done it, find someone who will let you follow what they have done and do it! Hans Johnson, also said there is only one way to kill fear and that is with ACTION. So if you are currently dealing with some level of fear in your life then you know what direction to walk in, or you would not even be fearful! Take action! Follow the lead of someone else that has what you want. Today is your day! Don’t procrastinate!

To know if your training is real it has to have gotten results and if you are training someone new are you giving them a specific path they can follow that you are using and having results. Too often there are people who learn a lot of skill over time and become successful, but if you are BRAND NEW and need to have success in your home business right now how long do you have? Any effective training has to give the exact steps that others are actively using and having results with.
Dani Johnson and her training does that for our company in DFI. Just this week Michelle Tascoe reading page 22 made $3,200, Cadie Kalmes made $2,000. Both of them are incredible leaders they practice what they preach. Personally reading page 22 I’ve made $10,705 in profit this week alone. Make sure if you want to succeed you are teaching what works and you are doing what you teach.
Successfully making a 6 Figure Income from home part-time relys on specific strategies that are applied by honest people. I believe both Michelle and Cadie are honest people.

Happy New Year and December Results
Posted by: | CommentsUnfortunately 2009 was a tough year for many people. You already knew that unless you lived under a rock some where. But leading into the New Year let’s take a moment and look back for what we can be thankful for. First and foremost we are blessed! We live in a great country it’s not perfect but it’s great! We have the gift of liberty and free will!
I don’t know where you are at but for our family it was a financially rewarding year as well. I must give God the credit for that. We are blessed to have the team that we have in DFI and with Coastal Travel. December was a slow month which tends to happen every year in my personal business and I keep hearing stories of other peoples HUGE DECEMBERS! In 2010 I want a HUGE December!
We ended up about average we did $12,000 not out standing but not bad. Jackie in MI did 11,000 and Crystal in WV did 26,000. Those are 2 others I recently heard about it.
January looks like we will do at least 12,000 and since it’s the first of the month we will most likely do much better than that when it’s over with.
January-April has always been our best months in business usually we do between 15-30K. each month.
Moving into the New Year if we are going to make it our greatest year yet we have to make a choice. Not a stupid New Year’s resolultion something you will forget about or that sounds like a good idea right now. We have to make a decision about what we are gong to do and then ACT on it! I once heard with decision you have DIRECTION!

Are you worried…?

Short three letter question but are you confident in how to answer it? Is it fear?
No, fear is what blocks opportunity. I once heard someone smart say the devil only places fear in front of a door that he knows you won’t fail at. So fear is an emotion that holds you back or blocks you from going down a path potentially.
I’d also recommend that if you are looking at an opportunity today and you feel fear to ask your self if you knew failure was not an option how would you react? Then do it NOW! You may say, “Well Stacy you don’t know my situation.” You are right but we can never change the pain of regret in the future.
…So this takes us back to our original question. What is worry? It is my belief that worry is something we often experience as we walk through opportunity before we achieve our destination. It’s taking tomorrow’s problem or the problem from next week or next year and assuming that it’s going to happen today. A problem which may never actually occur. We shoulder that burden usually by saying “What if”.
The result often times is that we will choose a new path to walk down and get off our path of opportunity. Today I encourage you to not let fear hold you back or let worry get you off track.

I’m doing a training on Live Dials
Posted by: | CommentsToday is an awesome opportunity for me. Things have worked out so I am going to be honored with the chance to make live dials and talk to clients live on the phone as our team at DFI listens in. We have so many talented leaders I rarely get to do this for our team.
I’m jacked up and stoked about it! I’m always making live dials for my own personal team. Obviously we work one on one with everyone we bring into the business. But to have the chance to do it for all of Coastal Travel! This is going to be a blast.

Our Team is Back from Dani Johnson now what?
Posted by: | CommentsDani Johnson was awesome at First Steps to Success this weekend. Our team was there full force learning the skills that every single person who has joined our team DFI and then created a 6 Figure Income has already learned. So now that we’ve gained these skills and we are back now what?
It’s too early to tell who the next story will be on our team, all I know is since the last event Nathan Brown from Alberta has be come a released Platinum Director and generated 19,410 dollars in Profit. Bonnie from North Carolina as well as Nike also from North Carolina are kicking butt as well. After the last event our team generated at least 72,000 dollars that month.
All I know is there are going to be some serious stories because this happens every single month. Now that we are back home we simply apply. Not hesitation like Dani said just make a mess with your new skills and see what happens. Who knows you may be the next Nathan Brown (formally a Canadian Idol finalist) and now on track to make a 6 Figure Income in DFI.
